Hi guys! This week will be a pretty hectic one for me, what with school, term tests and all the unglamorous parts of being a student, but I’m stopping for a short while to do my first blog award. I was tagged for this a while back by Maeve at Books by Maeve. Check out her blog if you haven’t already! And thanks so much Maeve, for nominating me!

What book reminds you of your childhood?
Changeling by Zilpha Keatley Snyder. I read it a few years ago and still remember that feeling of nostalgia I got while reading it – I related to this book so hard!! Ivy and Martha were basically me and my little sister playing pretend in the backyard. You can find my review here!

If you could only listen to three songs for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Hmmm. Coming from a person who doesn’t listen to songs as a habit, I’m finding it really hard to answer this question…let’s see. I see fire by Ed Sheeran, Out of the woods by Taylor Swift (no idea why I love that song so much though) and any one song sung by Celtic Women. Their music is marvellous, and I can’t choose one song☺

As soon as COVID is over, where do you want to travel?
Oh boy. You’re really asking me this?
Paris, London, Japan, the Galapagos Islands, Rainbow Mountain in Peru, any of the tepuis of Venezuela, Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia (the flattest place in the whole world!!) and Lake Te Anau in New Zealand.
Let us forget that I don’t have a passport yet and dream, okay?

What food do you want more people to try?
Again, like songs, food doesn’t interest me that much (I know, shocker😂) but my newest obsession is the pancakes my mom makes. It’s just the ordinary pancake mixture, but you add mashed potatoes and cheese and it tastes heavenly. You can try it at home if you like.

Do you have any books signed by the author? If you don’t, which ones do you want to be signed?
I don’t have any books signed by the author. Oh wait – yes I do. It’s a Sinhala fictional novel written by my older sister’s batchmate who used to live next door. If I had a physical copy of The Boy Who Steals Houses, I’d like to have it signed by C.G. Drews. I absolutely adore her blog Paperfury, as well as her writing style!

Here are my questions!
- Indoor or outdoor person?
- Is there a book you have no interest in reading?
- Have you ever watched an adaptation better than the book?
- A book character you’d like to meet and say ‘I told you so’😂
- If you could shape shift into an animal what animal would that be?
